Started & Ended In Wamena
Day 1
Upon Arrival In Sorong – Malagufuk
Upon arrival in Sorong, meet us and take a car drive to Malagufuk village, on arrival at Malagufuk, check in at your homestay and free afternoon taking a rest and relaxing wait for dinner. Dinner at your homestay.
Note : No a night excrusion on day 1 after arrive in Malagufuk village but we will do more talks and preparation with local naturalist guide.
Day 2
Day & Night Excrusion In Malagufuk
After morning breakfast, we will do morning walk for birdwatching at the conservative and protected rain forest area. The expected birds would be; Kind BOP, Laser BOP, Twelve wired BOP, Doves,Hornbills, cacatoos, Wooodpickers, Perots, Hawk and many more of endemic and migrant birds but also some other wildlifes. After that we will come back for lunch at your homestay. After lunch in the afternoon, we will do another birdwatching around or beyond but also you will have a chance to do a night wildlife watch. Dinner at your homestay.
Day 3
Day & Night Excrusion In Malagufuk
After morning breakfast, we will continue do again the morning walk for birdwatching and other wildlife observations, back for lunch and free afternoon relaxing and we will continue for anight wildlife watching walk to give you a chance for unseen wildlife on day first. Dinner at your homestay.
Day 4
Malagufuk – Sorong – Sarpokreng Village
After breakfast, we will check out and leave to Sorong to proceed to Waisai, Raja Ampat. It takes less than 2 hours to Waisai via Fast Ferry. Upon arrival, check in at Marine Post office for Entrance ID ( PIN ) and proceed to Sarpokreng village at Warimpurem homestay. Check in, have lunch and relaxing at your homestay or swimm around.
Note : We will do more talks and make preparations with local naturalist guide for the next birding trip.
Day 5
Birding Around Waigeo – Sawinggrai Village
We will start the trip earlier morning around 5.30am by car to see the Wilson’s BOP. It takes us one hour to reach the Wilson’s BOP spot. Upon arrival you will watch the Wilson’s BOP displays and attracting the female to show up on the ground display together.
After that we will get out from the Wilson’s and you will enjoy your coffee or tea with some snacks on the main street.
After breakfast, we will do birdwatching around the region and back to your homestay for lunch.
After lunch, we will move to Sawinggrai village to see the Red BOP. But it would be at the next earlier morning. Dinner at your homestay.
Day 6
Birding In Sawinggrai Village
We will leave our homestay around 5.30am to the birding spot. It takes us 30 – 40 minutes walk to reach the birding spot. After watching the Red BOP, we will also do birdwatching around the region to see some other birds and after that we will come back to your homestay for breakfast. After breakfast, we will do village tour and birding around the village. We can find and see the Blue King Fisher, Perrots, Hornbills, Sand Birds and more.
After that back to your homestay for lunch. After lunch you are free for snorkeling or walking around the beach. Dinner at your homestay.
Day 7
Sawinggrai – Waisai – Sorong
After brekafst, ride to Waisai and proceed to Sorong. ENDS OF TRIPS !
